If you plug in some of those Christmas lights and they’re not working, don’t pitch them, recycle them.
Once again the Dubuque Metro Area Solid Waste Agency is working with area partners to offer drop off locations for you to be able to recycle them.
Unwanted lights can be dropped off in marked containers at several locations in the county now through January 10th. For more information and to find out drop off locations CLICK HERE.
The agency says over 12-thousand pounds of lights have been recycled since the program started six years ago.
