Two people have received their sentences in a Dubuque robbery case from last year.
22-year old Abigail Smith of Des Moines and formerly of Dubuque was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation while 25-year old Tanaveius Shropshire of Dubuque was sentenced to 17 days in jail and 5 years of probation.
Smith and Shropshire were among a group of four people accused of robbing the man at gun point in June 2024 in the area of West 16th and Catherine streets.
The two other people involved 25-year old Keshawn Murphy and 22-year old Jakobe Jones both received their sentences earlier this year.
