Piggybacking on the news Major League baseball is returning to the Field of Dreams in Dyersville next year, Dyersville Events Inc. the owner and operator of the site had some more news to share today.
Three more days of concerts will take place over labor day weekend featuring headliners Shinedown on Friday, September 4th, Saturday, September 5th country superstar Carrie Underwood, and Sunday, September 6th Creed. Tickets will go on sale Friday morning at 10:00am.
It was also announced the field will host the Northwoods League All Star Game on July 8th.
Leaders say all the events at the Field of Dreams in 2026 could have a local economic impact of 40 million dollars.
Dyersville Events has recently launched the Bring It Home philanthropic capital campaign to help preserve and expand the iconic Field of Dreams Movie Site and have raised 80-million dollars of a 120-million dollar goal.
