The demolition of the building that was the first home for AM 1370 KDTH is currently underway in downtown Dubuque.
Beginning in 1941 the building was home to the KDTH Studios and later home to Radio Dubuque stations 92-9 KAT-FM, 97-3 The Rock, and 101-point-1 the River until the move to our current studios on top of the University Avenue hill.
When the building was first built it became the first broadcast-specific facility west of the Mississippi River.
The property at the corner of 8th and Bluff Streets is being razed to clear the way for part of the Dubuque Museum of Art’s expanded campus.
