Fire Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a house fire Thursday afternoon in East Dubuque.
The East Dubuque and Menonimee-Dunleith Fire Departments were called to the fire at 325 Wisconsin Avenue around 4:30. Crews were able to knock down the flames quickly.
There were no injuries. Authorities say a dog died while another dog and two cats were taken to a Galena veterinarian for treatment.
Damage was estimated at between 85 and 90-thousand dollars.
The Dubuque and Key West Fire Departments assisted.
