Beef Tenderloin Steak Bites
Steak Bites
3 lbs. beef tenderloin ends
1 ½ tsp. Kosher salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
½ tsp. Garilic powder
½ tsp. Onion powder
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup beef stock
4 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. fresh parsley, minced, optional
Season steak bites with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites, in batches. Cook 1-2 minutes until browned, flip and cook 1-2 minutes and flip again until browned on all sides. Transfer the steak pieces to a platter. Repeat with remaining steak bites until all are browned.
Reduce the heat on the skillet to medium. Add minced garlic and cook 30-seconds. Add the beef stock and scrape up the brown bits in the skillet. Add butter and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until butter is melted. Check for salt and pepper. Add the steak bites back to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Remove from heat and keep warm.
