United Way of Dubuque has partnered with Sundown Mountain to help them raise needed money by giving skiers a chance to hit the slopes at a savings to celebrate Friday’s opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games.
On Friday Sundown will drop their lift ticket prices to 40 dollars for the day with half of the cost donated to United Way of Dubuque and the Tri-States. Sundown is also offering ski and snowboard rental at no charge on Friday.
United Way will also host a party that evening at the North Lodge from 4 until 8 with music and fund raising games.
