Iowa High School State Wrestling  at the Caseys Center in Des Moines:

Hempstead 215 Camden Smith finished 2^nd after losing to Lincoln Jipp of Bettendorf on a tech fall 21-6 in the state championship match.

Also, for Hempstead: Abe Heysinger at 106 and Elijah Hyet at 132 finished 4^th, Landon Gottschalk at 120 finished 7th.

Western Dubuque’s Joe Hirsch at 157 finished 4th.

In Class 1A: Preston Hunter of Beckman Catholic finished 3^rd. From Cascade, Bryce Carroll at 144 finished 5th and teammate Tatum Honda placed 8^th.
