Radio Dubuque Sports Director Tim Lary will be honored at the Iowa
Football Coaches Association (IFCA) awards banquet this Saturday.
Lary who since the fall of 2001 has been the play-by-play voice for
Dubuque High School sports on AM 1370 KDTH and hosted the KDTH
Coaches Show on Saturday mornings will receive the “Ken Winkler
Distinguished Service Award” from the IFCA.
Lary was nominated by Wahlert Catholic football coaches Jamie Marshall
and Jim Killoran along with Hempstead coach Jeff Hoerner.
The IFCA Ken Winkler Distinguished Service Award recognizes civilians or
community members who have contributed many years of service to their
local community or provided significant support to football programs.
Lary will be presented the “Ken Winkler Distinguished Service Award” at
the IFCA Award banquet in Altoona.
