Dubuque Police say a man was arrested after he reportedly held a gun to the head of a woman during a domestic disturbance.
Police say 35-year old Cody Richey is also accused of strangling the woman and kicking her in the face during the disturbance on Sunday morning.
Authorities say the woman used a baseball bat to defend herself from Richey. She then took two of her children and left the home. When Police arrived they took Richey to the Dubuque County Jail where he is being held on $51-thousand dollars bond.
