University of Dubuque wrestling coach Jon McGovern is being inducted into the Iowa Wrestling Hall of Fame.
McGovern has been U-D head coach since 2002. During his wrestling career he was a state champion at Riceville High School then during his college career was a 2-time NCAA D-III Champion at Central College and named Outstanding Wrestler in NCAA Division 3 in 1992.
The 55th Annual Awards Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be April 13th in Cresco.
