news-winter1

Forecasters are keeping a close eye on a forming winter storm which could have significant travel impacts for the Tri-States on Sunday night into Monday.

The National Weather Service is continuing with a Winter Storm Watch in effect for the area from Sunday evening into Monday. Forecasters say heavy snow and windy condition will develop which could create blizzard like conditions.  Temperatures are expected to steadily fall during that period leading to slick road conditions.  Right now forecasters say it looks like this area could receive between 4 and 9 inches of snow with higher amounts possible.

Further to the north in the Northern two thirds of Wisconsin over 18 inches of snow with some higher amounts is being predicted starting tonight through Monday with Winter Storm Warnings already posted there for tonight through Monday morning.
