At the Wisconsin High School Boys State Basketball Tournament, the Southwestern Wildcats will play for the Wisconsin Division 5 state championship game today at the Kohl Center in Madison.
Yesterday in the semi-finals the Wildcats defeated the Prentice Buccaneers 69-65. Southwestern led 26-19 at halftime, built as high as an 18 point second half lead, but had to hold on down the stretch for the win. Southwestern was led in scoring by Aiden Keleher with 22 points. Cayden DeMuth added 16 points.
Southwestern (24-6) meets top seed (27-3) Reedsville at 11:05 for the gold ball.
