The new amphitheater on Chaplain Schmitt Island will be hosting its first performers this summer.
Yesterday officials with the new Back Waters Amp, the community-owned venue operated adjacent to Q Casino + Resort said the venue which can seat as many as 8-thousand guests will be ready to host shows in July.
The amphitheater is expected to attract a mix of nationally touring artists and regional talent. The inaugural line-up of performers will be announced soon.
