A Dubuque man will be sentenced later this spring after being found guilty on numerous counts of child pornography and other charges.
The Dubuque county jury returned its verdict this week against 72-year old Mark Morgan on charges of possessing child porn, violating the sex offender registry and enticing a minor under 13.
Morgan was arrested last June by Dubuque Police after being tipped off about his activities in April of last year. After obtaining a search warrant police discovered images and videos of young girls on electronic devices. Police also used an undercover officer posing as a 12-year old girl online to catch Morgan trying to entice a minor.
Morgan is in the Dubuque County Jail waiting for a sentencing date of May 18th.
