More John Deere employees are returning to work across three facilities including the Dubuque Works.

John Deere says 21 employees will return to Dubuque Works, 20 employees will return to Davenport Works and eight employees will return to Coffeyville Works in Kansas.

Deere brought back 24 workers to Dubuque in February and 27 in March, and 146 to Waterloo from February through March.

With this latest round of workers, Deere says approximately 324 U.S. employees have returned to work since January.

It comes after Deere laid off thousands of its workers in 2024 and 2025.

John Deere says the increase in work is due to a bigger demand for construction, forestry and drivetrain equipment.
