Western Dubuque Weekend Backpack Food Drive, sponsored by Western Dubuque Lions Club and Epworth United Methodist Church, will be Saturday, October 11 from 9a-11a. at Silker’s Grocery Store in Epworth. They seeking donations of single serving sizes of juice, cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, pop tarts, microwavable meals, canned pasta and vegetables. The backpacks of food are provided to Bobcat elementary students-in-need. (Over 100 per week)
