½ cup French dressing

½ cup ketchup

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

3 lbs. Cremer’s Ground Beef

6 slices Swiss cheese

6 slices American cheese

Butter or margarine, softened

1 loaf Sour Dough bread

Mix together 1 cup Thousand Island dressing, ½ cup French dressing, ½ cup ketchup and 1 tsp. Worcestershire.  Mix well, refrigerate 20-30 minutes.

Remove ground beef from the refrigerator 30 minutes before making your melts.  Create 12 thin patties, approximately ¼ lb. each.  Season each patty on both sides with pepper and seasoned salt.  Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add two burger patties.  Gently press the top of each, cook for 30 seconds, flip and press with a solid spatula, cook for 1-2 minutes, then flip again.  Remove to a plate and keep warm.  Continue cooking remaining patties.

In a seperate large skillet over medium-low heat.  Place 2 pieces of bread, butter side down, and top each piece of bread with a slice of Swiss cheese.  When toasted, top each bread slice with a burger patty, followed by a slice of American cheese, and the second patty.

Remove Frisco sauce from the refrigerator and spread on the other slice of sour dough bread and place on top of the second patty.  Slice and serve.
