The University of Wisconsin Platteville has named a Dubuque native to serve as the schools next Athletic Director.
Sam Koenig has been announced as the new A.D. and will take over the position effective May 18th.
Koenig most recently was the head men’s soccer coach at Loras College. Koenig also coached at Platteville and during his initial tenure served as Associate Athletic Director.
Koenig is a 2012 graduate of Wahlert High School and 2015 graduate of Loras College.
