A Dubuque man has been sentenced to federal prison time for possessing a gun while prohibited to do so.
Last week 48-year old Nathan Stark was ordered to serve three years after pleading guilty to the charges in September.
In January 2004, Stark who was previously convicted on domestic abuse charges was found to have a revolver with an obliterated serial number when officers conducted a search of his home.
Stark is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
