After guiding the Iowa State men’s basketball team to its third Sweet 16 appearance in five years, head men’s basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger has agreed to a new contract that will keep him leading the Cyclone program through 2036 and increase his salary to $6 million annually.
Athletic Director Jamie Pollard says the contract extension demonstrates Iowa State University’s commitment to Otlzelberger by making him one of the highest paid basketball coaches in the country.
