The American Rivers Conference has handed out their post season awards

Dubuque native Nathan Roling has been named the Coach of the Year in the conference.  Roling led Simpson College to a 24-18 overall record and a 14-10 mark in the A-R-C to land the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament.

Three local players earned positions on the 16-man A-R-C first team. They included Coe College junior right-handed pitcher Jack Walsh, University of Dubuque sophomore outfielder Will Sullivan and Loras College senior first baseman Vince Polizzi. Walsh played high school baseball at Wahlert Catholic, and Sullivan at Dubuque Senior.
