Envision 2030 held the Big Reveal last night at the Dupaco Voices Building in the Millwork District to announce the top 10 ideas chosen from a month’s long process that started from nearly 3000 ideas submitted by community members.
The top 10 ideas chosen to enhance the area were:
- Access to health food
- Community-centered housing
- All-ages sports hub
- Children’s museum
- Reimagined Mississippi riverfront
- South Port revitalization
- Collaborative brain health services
- Community aquatic center
- Senior well-being center
- Expanded library services
The next step will be a meeting next month hosted by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque to discuss ways to bring the ideas to reality. The date is Monday, November 10th from 5:30 to 7 at the Q Casino
