Dubuque County Supervisors have voted in favor of contributing to a minimum revenue guarantee to keep commercial air service flying at the Dubuque Regional Airport.
Yesterday the supervisors voted 2 to1 in favor of contributing 100-thousand dollars from the county’s general operating fund to support Denver Air Connections connecting flights between Dubuque and Chicago O’Hare Airport.
The city of Dubuque has committed as much as $2.5 million in local tax dollars to subsidize flights at the airport until June 2026.
