AMES, Iowa – Iowa State kicker and Dubuque native Kyle Konrardy has been named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week. Konrardy connected on a 55-yard field goal in Iowa State’s 38-14 victory over Kansas on Saturday.
It was his third make of the season from 50-plus yards and he now has five such makes in his career, which is tied for the second-most in program history.
He also went 5-of-5 on extra point attempts and sent his only kickoff through the back of the end zone for a touchback.
