A Dubuque woman was arrested after being accused of resisting an arrest which led to injuries to a Dubuque County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The Sheriff’s Department says it happened Sunday afternoon around 2:30 in the Key West Area in the area of U.S. 61/151 and Maquoketa Drive.
Authorities say 36-year old Jessica refused to get out of a vehicle when the deputy was attempting to place her under arrest on a warrant. The deputy then pulled her out of the vehicle and suffered an ankle injury while she was resisting. Bartella now faces a charge of interference with official acts resulting in serious injury.
