Wisconsin State High School Wrestling
At the Wisconsin High School State Wrestling Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison, Lancaster had a state champion. It took triple overtime but Toay Ragatz defeated Prairie du Chien’s Jack Simmons 3-2 in the WIAA Division 3 215-pound state championship match.
Lancaster teammate Nolan Hanke finished as the 190-pound state runner-up, while Cuba City/Benton/Southwestern’s Branko Garcia earned silver at 113 in Division 2 and Belmont/Platteville’s Dylan Weigel (144) finished as a D-2 state runner-up for the second consecutive season.
