At the Iowa High School State Track Meet in Des Moines, Western Dubuque’s Quentin Nauman claimed another state championship. Nauman won his 9th state track title in his career so far by winning the 3A boys 3200 meters in 8:54.
He has a chance to win 3 more state titles today and tomorrow

- Senior High’s Emma Chesterman with a 5th place finish in the 4A girls 3000 meters.
- Lucy Murphy of Wahlert Catholic medaled with a 7th place in 3A race.
- Maggie Coutchie of Wahlert Catholic placed 6th in the 3A girls discus.
- Hempstead’s boys 4×800 team placing 6th.
- Ayden Stark of Bellevue placed 6th in the 1A boys long jump.
