PALM DESERT, Calif. – The University of Dubuque battled high temperatures in the third round of the 2026 NCAA Division III National Championship and dropped from 12th to 14th overall with one round to go. UD shot 319 yesterday and are in 14th place with one round left of the tournament.
Baseball
The No. 8-seeded University of Iowa baseball team fell to No. 5-seeded Purdue, 8-1, in an elimination game Thursday afternoon at the Big Ten Tournament at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. The Hawkeyes finished the season with a 33-23 record and a 15-15 mark in conference play.
