Dubuque and Jackson counties are among 40 Iowa counties receiving over $64 million dollars in federal aid to help replace 67 bridges and culverts in poor condition across Iowa.
The two awards will be administered through Department of Transportation Competitive Highway Bridge Program (CHBP), which was created as part of the Investment and Jobs Act.
The funding will support the replacement city, county and state-owned bridges and culverts in poor condition.
