Yesterday afternoon Holy Family Catholic Schools held a ground breaking ceremony on the Central Campus to mark the beginning of construction on the $30 million Platform for Excellence: Inspiring Spaces campaign project.
Once fully completed, the project will include a new faith and fine arts auditorium at Wahlert High School, new academic spaces, along with a new athletic complex.
Holy Family hopes to have the athletic facility upgrades completed by the fall of 2027 with the new auditorium ready for a first performance in the spring of 2028.
Officials say construction on the expanded academic spaces likely won’t begin until the summer of 2027.
