A southwest Wisconsin man died when the milk truck he was driving went off the road and landed at the bottom of an abandoned quarry.
The Layfayette County Sheriff says the crash happened shortly before noon yesterday on State Highway 81 near Argyle. Authorities say the truck driver 32-year old Jaykub Anderson of Mineral Point died after the truck left the roadway, into the ditch before going over the edge of the nearby quarry. Anderson was the only one in the vehicle.
State Highway 81 was reduced to single lane traffic for several hours during the investigation and the removal of the truck.
