Clarke University has removed the interim and has named Yvonne Zimmerman the schools president effective immediately.
Zimmerman who was vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty took over as interim president in October after the resignation of Fletcher Lampkin.
Zimmerman joined Clarke in August 2023 after previously serving as professor of Christian ethics and associate academic dean at Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
Clarke says they will begin a nationwide search for a new vice president.
