IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Coach Ben McCollum has received an immediate $1 million raise under the six-year contract he signed last week after he led Iowa to its first Elite Eight appearance in 39 years.
McCollum will be paid $4.35 million in 2026-27, with raises of $100,000 each year through 2031-32. McCollum’s salary was $3.35 million in 2025-26. His bonus structure remains mostly the same. McCollum would owe the university $5 million if he were to take another job before April 1, 2027.
