A Dubuque woman who had first degree murder and first degree robbery charges against her dismissed last year is back in jail.
Dubuque Police say early Sunday morning during a traffic stop, 19-year old Laniga Hannon who was a passenger in the vehicle that was pulled over, was identified for having outstanding warrants. Hannon tried giving officers a false identity. When they were placing her under arrest, Hannon reportedly resisted, spit on and kicked an officer. No injuries to the officer were reported. Hannon was taken to the Dubuque County Jail and faces multiple charges for the incident.
Hannon was one of a group of people originally charged in the shooting death of Lonnie Burns of Dubuque last February. Charges against Hannon were dismissed.
