If you’ve traveled in the 21-hundred block of University Avenue this week near the University of Dubuque you probably noticed an empty lot where the Hardees restaurant use to be. The building which has stood vacant for months was demolished this week.
The University of Dubuque, which purchased the building and property in 2022 tells Radio Dubuque News, it was recently determined the structure was not viable to use in its condition. U-D says at this point in time, they have not yet determined plans for the property.
