Dubuque Man Who Trafficked Hundreds of Pounds of Ice Methamphetamine Sentenced to Federal Prison

A  Dubuque man who trafficked over 300 pounds of ice methamphetamine in the Dubuque area was sentenced yesterday to more than 11 years in federal prison.

39-year old Jason Laufenberg received the prison term after a guilty plea last October.

Evidence at the sentencing hearing showed that from 2019 to 2021, Laufenberg and co-conspirators trafficked over 300 pounds of ice methamphetamine in the Dubuque, Iowa, area

Laufenberg is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
