Dubuque police have arrested two people accused of breaking into a home and robbing a man at gunpoint.
Police say the incident happened Thursday morning at the man’s home in the 400 block of Locust Street after the two broke through the door of the residence.
28-year old John Smothers and 25-year old Zoe Smith both of Dubuque were arrested on Saturday following an investigation. Both Smothers and Smith were charged with 1st degree robbery and first degree burglary and taken to the Dubuque County Jail. Smothers also is facing drug related charges.
