Quick action by the Dubuque Fire Department kept a fire at a convenience store from doing serious damage.
Around 6:15 yesterday morning fire crews were called to the building in the 500 block Hill Street. When they arrived they found and contained a small fire inside a wall near refrigeration equipment. The fire did not spread beyond that area and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters determined minor electrical arcing ignited nearby combustible materials. Officials estimate around 92-hundred dollars in damage.
