In celebration of National Public Works Week next week, the City of Dubuque Public Works Department will host a ‘Touch a Truck’ event at the Dubuque Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 7 until noon.
You’re invited to come down and view multiple pieces of public works equipment including a mini excavator, backhoe, asphalt roller, asphalt paver, garbage truck, and a dump truck with a snowplow.
Additionally the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency will be giving away 100 five-gallon buckets of compost.
