A man was wounded in a shooting last night in Dubuque. Police say around 8:30 they were called to the area of 20th and Jackson Streets for the report of a physical disturbance. When officers arrived, they found 39-year-old Kenneth Dunbar of Dubuque with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Dunbar was taken to MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque for treatment.
The suspect who fired the shot ran away from the area and hasn’t been found yet.
Police say the shooting seems to be an isolated incident and the investigation is continuing.
