A Dubuque man charged with first degree murder will have a date in court next week to enter a plea to the charges.
18-year old Latrell Powell-Moore is scheduled for arraignment Monday in Dubuque County District Court.
Powell-Moore is accused in the shooting death of 16-year old JaKory McMillian on the night of March 9th in an alley between West Locust and Almond Streets. Following the shooting McMillian was taken to Finley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Powell-Moore was arrested three days later in Marion and is being held in the Dubuque County Jail on $2 million dollars bond.
