The Potosi School District will break ground by the end of the month on a project to construct a new gymnasium, make renovations to existing gyms, and more class room space.
The funding for the project became reality when Potosi district voters approved a 9.1 million dollar referendum in November 2024.
The first phase will be construction of a new elementary gym. The current elementary gym will then be remodeled in the summer of 2027.
The second phased will include improvements to the parking lot while the third phase will be renovation of the high school gym.
