Northeast Iowa Community College has announced it will be adding another sport to its lineup beginning this fall.
NICC Athletic Director says will begin a club sport men’s and women’s wrestling program.
Dubuque native and two-time Division Three All-American Wil Kelly has been hired as the head coach. Kelly most recently has been an assistant coach at the University of Dubuque after serving as head coach at Cedar Falls High School.
This program is non-sanctioned club sport which means wrestlers will not compete in the NJCAA post season events, however national club wrestling championships are an option.
