Wahlert Catholic High School will hold commencement ceremonies Sunday afternoon.
One of the graduates walking the stage today was recently named a 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program semi-finalist, one of the nation’s highest honors for graduating high school seniors.
Jackson Lampe is one of just nine Iowa Students and around 600 students nationally to reach the semi-finals. Each year, up to 161 students across the country are named U.S. Presidential Scholars. Final awardees will be announced this summer.
Commencement ceremonies will be held at 2 o’clock in the Wahlert High School Gymnasium.
