Trial For Missouri Man Charged with Vehicular Homicide Delayed

The trial date for a Missouri man who faces vehicular homicide charges in Clayton County has been changed to later this summer.

24-year old Tucker Baker of Saint Joseph, Missouri charged in connection with a fatal traffic related accident back in July of 2023 in the town of Volga near the Volga Campgrounds was scheduled for trial May 1st , however it has been moved to August 21st.

Authorities say a pick-up Baker took off at a high rate of speed while 24-year old William Gross and his brother 21-year old Brett Gross were riding in the open tailgate of the pickup. Both were thrown onto the pavement and suffered severe injuries. William Gross died two days later.
