Attorneys in Florida held a press conference this morning to urge other potential victims of alleged abuse by former Dubuque priest Leo Riley to come forward to aid in the investigation.  Riley faces five counts of second degree sexual abuse from the time he was at Resurrection Parrish in Dubuque and also is facing possible charges in Florida.  At today’s press conference an alleged victim gave this statement:

The man’s attorney Damian Mallard says his office is still seeking to obtain evidence to help the investigation, but so far have been unsuccessful.

Riley is being held on 100-thousand dollars bond in jail in Florida where he was scheduled to appear in court this morning before being sent back to Iowa.
