A fire in Cascade has destroyed a commercial building housing three businesses doing an estimated one million dollars in damage.
Shortly before 4 :00pm yesterday afternoon firefighters from Cascade, Monticello, Farley, Bernard, and Dyersville Fire Departments were called to the structure along Highway 136. Green Truck Line, Finzel Repair, and Noonan Trucking were identified as businesses inside.
The building and everything inside including semi tractors and other semi-tractor repair equipment are considered a total loss.
There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but authorities say it does not appear to be suspicious.
