The Dubuque County Drug Task Force says 128 pounds of prescription and non-prescription medications were collected locally on Saturday during the National Take Back Prescription Drug Collection Event.
The total weight of sharps collected was almost 68 pounds.
A reminder to anyone who may have missed this event, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office has a Prescription Drop Box located in the front lobby of the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center. Drop boxes can also be located at the Dyersville, Farley, Peosta and Cascade Police Department as well as at Asbury City Hall.
